Our Green Chile Chicken and Cheese Chimichanga is sure to be your favorite dish. Enjoy gooey cheese, savory shredded chicken, and spicy Hatch Green Chile, all wrapped up in a crunchy fried flour tortilla. They are made by hand and then deep-fried to a perfect golden brown. One makes a perfect afternoon snack, and two make a great dinner.
Our Chimichangas go great with our Hatch Green Chile Rellenos and Hatch Green Chile Chicken Tamales. Each is a classic southwestern dish that you'll find served all over New Mexico. We cannot ship this product to P.O. Boxes. Please use a physical address when checking out. It will be shipped with Dry Ice. When unpacking the shipping container, please use gloves and handle the Dry Ice carefully.
Cooking Instructions:
Defrost the chimichangas slightly (30 seconds in the microwave or 10-15 minutes left out). Then, pan fry the chimichangas on the stove for 7-10 minutes, or deep fry them at 375°F for approximately 4 minutes in the light cooking oil of your choice. Alternatively, air fry at 400°F until your cheese is thoroughly melted (typically around 9 minutes per 3 chimichangas, but please use your best judgment).
