Smothered Hatch Green Chile Pork Chops
  • 4 Pork Chops
  • 1 Jar Pure Green Chile (any heat you desire)
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 1/2 cups of Rice
  • 1 Onion
Add some oil to the bottom of a pan/deep skillet.
Put some sliced onion in the bottom of the pan (optional), then add your pork chops.
Brown the pork chops and sautée the onions on medium heat.
In a separate mixing bowl, add 1 1/2 cup of rice, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 2 cups of water, and 1 jar of Pure Green Chile (we used X-Hot).
Give that mixture a good stir, then pour over the pork chops.
Put the lid on the pan and cook on low for about 30 minutes or until the rice is cooked. 
Serve and enjoy!
