McMillan Chile Con Queso Recipe

Ingredients:

    • 1 - 32 oz. Block of Velveeta Cheese, Cut In Small Pieces
    • 1 - 12 oz. Can Evaporated Milk
    • 1 Jar of Pure Hatch Green Chile

Instructions:

1. Add Ingredients

Mix all ingredients in a microwave safe container. You can also do this recipe on a stove top burner in a non stick pan or pot.

2. Mix

Microwave for 3 minutes and stir. Continue to repeat every 3 minutes until Chile Con Queso is smooth.

3. Enjoy!

I sauté onions and garlic with pure green chile then add 8oz pepper jack cheese and 16oz Mexican velveeta cubed stirring until creamy. I add either milk, half and half or diced tomatoes so it is not too thick.

Sauteing some onions with well cooked sausage makes for a great addition :)

I would also add sautéed onions and garlic to taste

What about sautéing onions and cooking up some hamburger or sausage and adding to the mix?
