575 Challenge – $10,000 Cash Contest

Official Rules & Terms and Conditions

1. Contest Period

The 575 Challenge begins at 12:00 AM PST on Sunday, May 25, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM PST on July 31, 2025.

2. How to Enter

To enter, post a photo or video featuring a Fresh Chile product (such as our sauces, salsas, or chile) and tag @thefreshchileco on Instagram or Facebook.

You may submit up to three (3) total entries across both platforms during the contest period. Multiple posts beyond this limit will not be considered.

No purchase is required to participate.

3. Who Can Enter

This contest is open to legal residents of all 50 United States and the District of Columbia, aged 18 or older at the time of entry.

Employees of Fresh Chile Co., wholesale partners, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

4. Judging Panel

Entries will be reviewed by a panel consisting of Fresh Chile Co. staff, select customers, and All-Access Members. All eligible entries will be scored according to the criteria below.

5. Judging Criteria

  • Creativity (40%) – Originality and presentation
  • Relevance (30%) – How well the entry highlights Fresh Chile products and community spirit
  • Storytelling (20%) – The message, meaning, or tradition conveyed
  • Visual Quality (10%) – Clarity, lighting, and overall production value

The judging period runs from July 1–8, 2025. The decision of the panel is final and not subject to appeal.

6. Grand Prize

One (1) winner will receive a $10,000 USD cash prize, awarded by check or electronic bank transfer. The winner will be announced on or around August 15, 2025 on freshchileco.com and Fresh Chile’s social media accounts.

7. Usage Rights

By entering the contest, you grant Fresh Chile Co. a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute your submitted content—including name, likeness, photo, or video—in marketing and promotional materials across digital, print, and advertising platforms, including but not limited to social media, email campaigns, and paid advertisements.

All creative will be credited when possible, and no additional compensation beyond the contest prize will be provided for use of submitted content.

8. General Terms

  • This is a skill-based contest and not a sweepstakes. Winners are selected based on judging criteria above.
  • This contest is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and void where prohibited.
  • Fresh Chile Co. reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, or violate the spirit of the contest.
  • Fresh Chile Co. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time due to technical issues, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond its control.
  • If the selected winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected at the discretion of the judging panel.
  • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.
