New Mexico Lamb Shanks is one of Randy's favorite meals. "When I ate this last night I honestly thought it could have been the best meal I ever ate!", was a direct quote from him! Braised New Mexico Lamb Shanks with Rosemary, New Mexico Wine, and Fresh Red Chile. Below you can find the link to the recipe we used for this recipe. The only deviation is to also add a jar of our Abuela’s Traditional Red Chile Sauce or Fresh Red Chile Sauce you add the other liquids (broth and wine.) We also served it over posole instead of potatoes but you can eat with whatever side-dish you enjoy most.

The recipe is linked above, all you have to do is click on the words “Rosemary Braised Lamb Shanks” it will take you to the recipe that we used to create our Lamb, the only thing we did differently was add in a jar of Abuela’s Traditional Red Chile Sauce, with heat level of your choice. All you do is add in the Fresh Chile sauce with the rest of the liquid as you make the lamb! Let us know if you try it out.
