Split Pea Soup

Split Pea Soup

1 pound bag of dry peas
3 thin cut smoked pork loin chops bone In
Half a jar of Fresh Chile Pure Green Chile (I used medium)
1 large onion diced
2 packets no sodium Herb-Ox chicken bouillon powder
~2 quarts of water
4 cloves fresh garlic minced
5 medium large diced purple potatoes
1 bunch carrots, about 6 carrots skin on and sliced

Throw it all in the crockpot and let 'er swim overnight.
Serve with saltines baked a few minutes with butter and Fresh Chile Hatch Table Seasoning.
Serve it up hot, is so good on a cold day!
