Quick Red & Green Chili recipe


1 lb. ground beef
3 cloves frozen garlic sautéed in 2-3 TBSP olive oil (after the beef is browned and mostly drained)
1 tsp salt. Another small amount of olive oil may be added later as you see fit.
1 1/2 jars FCC Red & Green Blend; I puréed most of it for a short bit in the ninja chopper to lessen some of the chunkiness.
1/2 can 'red beans' (pinto or black or kidney ok also). drained and rinsed
14.5 oz. can fire-roasted diced or crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup low sodium chicken stock or broth
1/2 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp onion powder


Cooked in a Misen SS saucier pan. Love the Misen pans!
There may be other ways to enhance this, maybe the use of a little smoked salt, or some of the FCC spices, other ideas. You have to be careful with spices and FCC products.
