Fried Jalapeño Roast Cheese Balls
1 small block of Colby Longhorn cheese, freshly grated
8 oz of cream cheese
1/3 c mayonnaise
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp Kosher salt and pepper
3 heaping Tbsps of FCC Red Chile Roast
Mix all and refrigerate for at least an hour.
While waiting, prepare 3 separate containers with flour, beaten eggs (2), and bread crumbs.
Prepare vegetable oil in a frying pan at 350°.
Remove the cheese from the fridge and roll 2 tbsps of the cheese into a ball. Roll all the cheese balls at once.
Dredge balls through flour, egg, and bread crumbs.
Again, do all the cheese balls before frying as it goes very quickly.
Fry for about 2 minutes on each side.
1/2 c sour cream
3 tbsp mayo
Garlic and onion powder to taste
3 heaping tsp of FCC Jalapeño Roast
