3 Meat Chili with FCC
1 pound stew meat
2 pounds ground beef for Chile
1/2-pound Jimmy Dean hot breakfast sausage
6 jalapeños diced
4 Serrano diced
1/2 large onion diced
1 large tomato diced
Half a jar of FCC Jalapeño Roast
1/4 jar of Red & Green Blend
2 tbsp FCC Hatch Red Chile Powder (Hot)
3 tbsp Gebhard's Chile powder
2 tbsp hot New Mexico red Chile powder
4 tbsp dried garlic
1, 15oz can tomato sauce
1-quart beef stock
Salt and pepper to taste
Season the meat with salt, pepper, and FCC Hatch Red Chile Powder, brown all together in a large, heavy-bottom pot.
Add all of your veggies and season with the remaining spices.
Cook for about 10 minutes or so.
Add tomato sauce and stock.
Simmer low for about 4 to 5 hours adding stock if needed.
Add beans if you want; I used kidney and black beans.
Serve with cornbread or crackers, Modelo or Dos xx.
